Pulses provide significant amounts of vitamins and minerals. Pulses, which have almost double protein content of cereal group products, are the main protein source of many individuals due to their long-lasting, storable and affordable price compared to animal food. In addition to its great importance in human nutrition, pulses are also a low-cost alternative as animal feed and has a very strategic place in our ecosystem.

The Pulses group, which is one of the sub-classifications in the Cereals, Pulses, Oil Seeds and Products’ Export in Turkey in 2019, is in the 8th place and our country plays an important role in the agricultural products’ export.
