WORLD OIL SEEDS AND FRUITS TRADE
Oil seeds, which have an important place in human and animal nutrition due to the oil, protein, carbohydrates and vitamins they contain, also constitute an important raw material source for the industrial sector. Oil seed plants have various uses.

Brazil took first place in World Oil Seeds and Fruits Trade with 27.8% share. Turkey has 2.9% share in the world’s exports of Oil Seeds in 2019. As of 2019, the top five countries which Turkey exports related products are India, Germany, Russia, Ukraine and the Netherlands.
WORLD VEGETABLE OIL TRADE EXPORT
Oils are an important source of energy. They contain oil-soluble vitamins such as A, D, E and K (vegetable oils meet ¾ of the vitamin E need). They constitute the source of essential oleic acids necessary for the development of body structure. They are used as raw materials in industry and they are used in the production of bio-diesel. The production of animal-derived oils is expensive and insufficient, therefore most of the essential oils are obtained from vegetable oils.

Malaysia took first place in World Vegetable Oil Export with 45.5% share. Turkey has 2% share in the world exports of Oil Seeds in 2019. As of 2019, the top five countries which Turkey exports related products are Iran, the United States of America, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Kazakhstan.
